Internet Marketing Tips - Creating Killer Videos That Sell

The stone ages are dead. Long live the caveman. I remember the days when static web pages were all you got. Video? What the heck was that? Today, video is taking over the Internet. If you think I'm kidding, go over to YouTube and see how many views some of these videos are getting. It's insane. And, if you want to be a successful marketer today, you can't ignore video. This article is going to provide you with some tips on how to create videos that sell. After all, that IS the bottom line, right?

At the top of the to-do list is to make sure you have the proper equipment to do the job right. Trust me, you don't have to go out and spend tens of thousands of dollars. As a matter of fact, because video production tools have become so high tech, you can create a killer video with almost no cost at all. Just check out things like CamStudio and Open Office and you'll have all you need to create videos that sell...for FREE.

Next you want to make sure that you have the video scripted. Why do I say this? Because let me tell you something. Once you get in front of the camera or a mic, you WILL get nervous unless you have been doing this sort of thing for a very long time. Plus, scripting your video out will give you some idea of how long it's going to be. You don't want to make your videos too long. People have short attention spans.

Finally, you want to get your videos circulated as much as you can. YouTube is a great place to start but it isn't the only video site on the Internet. There are plenty of them. And, if you don't want to spend a lot of time submitting, there are automated submitters that you can get that will save you a ton of time. The more people who see your video, the more people will come to your site, which should be clearly visible in both the video itself and the description.

If you follow these simple tips you WILL make videos that will sell.

The Complete Truth About Internet Marketing - Part 2

If you are interested in getting yourself a Mentor some companies will talk you into leveraging the expense on your credit cards and make you believe you'll get the money back once the mentoring is over, because hopefully you will have a successful business up and running, it's not always the case, so work out your finances and if you cannot afford it don't do it, as you'll just be left with a nice big credit card bill accruing interest. Find another method to learn to begin with, nowadays there is a lot of free information on the Internet.

You need to do your due diligence here, I just went from course to course and some are still sitting on my hard drive that I have not even started yet, a lot are just repeats of each other. The best thing to do if you are serious is to get yourself a Mentor, (if you can afford one). I did in the end and for me it was the best thing I did, again it was not cheap, but everyone that has made it online will tell you, everyone needs one and all that have made it big time have used a Mentor.

Now what you need to work out is if you are really serious about setting up a business in Internet Marketing, is what time you can realistically allocate to it, you also need to set yourself goals, this step is very important and it keeps you focused, to start with don't set yourself impossible goals just start with small ones and this will keep you focused and feel good about yourself every time you reach a goal.

You will hear a lot of people saying that you can do Internet Marketing without spending a dime - yes this is true to a certain degree, but it depends on you what you want to do, what outcome you are looking for, you could just write articles which promote other peoples products and then get a commission for it, some people have earned really good money doing this or as every guru will tell you, you can make some serious money by selling your own product, which then you will need to put money into your business, as you will need a web site etc...

I hope this will give the newbie (that's what we call someone that is completely new to Internet Marketing) a little bit of an insight into Internet Marketing and what to expect from it, it is not to put you off but just to stop you from making the same mistakes as me and many other Internet Marketers out there, do your due diligence and don't spend your money unnecessarily on course after course and get yourself in debt.

Internet Marketing is a wonderful business to get into and the rewards are great if you go about it correctly.
